Hubby is less then a mile from here and can't get home. The snow plows keep getting stuck and have to be pulled out. He got into Port at 6:45am and it is now 2:30pm and he still can't get home :blues:

Oh my goodness I have never seen anything like it! :speechlesssmiley It looks so pretty, but I know its a pain. I hope your hubby gets home soonn

I feel for you. In DC, we don't get much snow at all, usually only a few inches a year. But every 5 or 10 years, we catch a noreaster which is kind of like a winter hurricane but less wind, and we get dumped on like that. We have gotten 2-3 feet overnight. Since the area is not really good at snow removal it totally shuts our area down. They usually ending up having to bring backhoes in to remove the snow.

That's when you can catch the dogs with funny expressions on their faces when they go to the bathroom. They say, hey, who did that? That's cold!

Wow!! Very pretty but I know what a pain in the rear that much snow can be---hope Dave makes it home OK.

Funny how Mother Nature works---here we are 2 hours south of you and we didn't get one snowflake. Good luck digging out. I bet the dogs love it.

Dave finally made it home. :clap
He was stranded for 7 hours. Finally made it home following a snow plough at 4:00 pm
He left work at 5:00am yesterday morning. He came home showed, ate and then crashed! Poor guy had been up for 27 hours
The dogs can't walk in the snow, just too much of it. I can't even walk in it, it is up to my waist. I'm afraid they will sufficate in it!
Edie was a winter puppy but I don't know if she remembers it.
She thinks it's GReat
Have to dig out today. :shovel:
P.S. Larz is going to become an Uncle for the first time today. His breeder just emailed me :coolpartysmiley

Wow, thats a lot of snow! Beautiful though, as long as its not here! :laughingsmile I love to see the dogs bunny hop through the snow! My Dakota loved the snow. Sunny tolerates it and Jazzy thinks anything is fun!

Lynn

Congratulations Larz! :clap

Oh it looks beautiful, I just wish we'd finally get some snow, hasn't snowed in Cardiff for over two years, and when it did it lasted less than 3 hrs :(
